Thanks for your lovely comments and suggestions on how to do a long bolster. I do get my zipper and pulls from Rowley. I've never tried sewing a zipper in that way before. I don't do a lot of bolsters, but next time I have one, I'll give your method a try.
It's funny that everyone agreed on the fabric being less than pretty. I tried my best not to say outright that I HATED it and thought it was incredibly ugly. There was just so much of it. Oh well, like I said, I just make what I'm given and if I don[t like it so much, I try not to think about it.
