Comfy banquette cushions and throws.

Four inch foam wrapped in fiberfill make comfortable seating on this custom banquette. The homeowner reused window treatments and collected fabrics for some of the pillows. Crate and Barrel pillows add contemporary pop.
A wall was removed between the kitchen and small dining room to open the space in this 1920s in-town home. The homeowner plans to stitch up curtains for windows over the sink. The remodeled space in keeping with the period of the home while elevating the kitchen with custom cabinets, Carrara countertops, Italian embossed subway tile backsplash, upgraded appliances and lighting. Simply charming!

A break from my sewing room - Annie Sloan paint project.

I've been meaning to tackle this project for a while. Quite pleased with the results - a cheerful update! The paint is available through specialty shops. http://vintagechiconline.com/

Old Ochre for the top and bottom cabinets.

Love the rich glow of Arles for the interior of the upper cabinet.  Now perhaps I'll retrieve my boxed china from the basement, place it the lower cabinet, and enjoy using it.
At first I chose Louis Blue for the interior - loved the color, but seemed forced on this piece. Oh well, I'll use it on another project.
